As a member of the Finance team, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for reporting and forecasting in the organization.
· Bi-weekly meetings with sales manager to review pricing bump charts and complete price change reconciliation
· Working with others at various levels of the organization to include Operations and Commercial
· Proactive sales price monitoring in customer portal and versus actual sales price with variance explanations
· Updating and tracking outside services labor approved budget versus actual hours worked
· Mitigating price discrepancies, aged account receivables, and “material” bad debt reserve
· Analyzing customer payment versus billing discrepancies including retroactive adjustments
· Performing month-end close responsibilities
· Sarbanes Oxley quarterly testing
· Completing various ad hoc requests for Division and plant personnel
Qualifications:
· BS or BBA degree in Accounting or Finance
· Must have at least 5 years accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:
Knowledge of the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) as they apply to financial reporting
Knowledge of the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) rules and regulations as they apply to financial reporting and procedures
Knowledge of federal, state, and municipal laws and statutes as they apply to financial reporting
Knowledge of Manufacturing and/or Automotive environments
Knowledge of SOX requirements as needed to ensure compliance
· Excellent Verbal and written Communication skills
· Proficient Skills in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook
· Ability to analyze and interpret financial and accounting records as needed to make reporting decisions
Ability to prepare accurate and complete financial reports
Pay Details: $40.00 per hour
