A Global Manufacturer is seeking a Financial Accounting Manager to manage and strategize our financial operations. Your role includes managing accounts receivable for precise revenue recognition, ensuring compliance with IFRS in consolidation and financial reporting, and supporting cash management for various currency and liquidity needs. You'll also manage treasury and foreign exchange operations, oversee tax compliance, conduct cash reconciliations, prepare forecasts, lead risk management, and supervise audits. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, preferably with a CPA certification, and relevant experience in accounting and auditing to understand the intricacies of financial control. Excellent communication skills are essential for effective stakeholder engagement. We value a leader capable of developing strategies in financial reporting, audit, cash management, and risk management, reflecting a deep understanding of financial operations and strategic planning.
Responsibilities:
● Manage accounts receivable to ensure accurate revenue recognition and timely
cash receipts.
● Prepare monthly consolidation reporting in compliance with IFRS.
● Prepare financial reporting in compliance with IFRS accounting guidance and
regulatory standards.
● Support cash management needs of the group to address currency needs and
liquidity.
● Manage treasury and foreign exchange operations, addressing the complexities
of international financial transactions.
● Oversee tax planning and compliance to ensure timely filing.
● Conduct cash reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
● Prepare rolling forecasts to provide forward-looking financial insights.
● Lead risk management initiatives to identify and mitigate financial risks.
● Supervise audits and controls to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial
Reports.
Qualifications:
● A Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
● CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification is preferred for in-depth expertise
in accounting standards and practices.
● Relevant work experience in accounting and auditing is vital to understand the
nuances and complexities of financial reporting and control.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills are critical for effective
communication with internal and external stakeholders.
● Proven ability to lead in developing financial reporting, audit, cash management,
and risk management, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of
financial operations and strategic planning.
