Finance Systems Senior Analyst/Coordinator- REMOTE

The VHC Finance SystemsAnalyst/Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Finance Systems Director with all areas of financial systems support. This includes technical support of all Stratajazz system modules including Decision Support, Costing, Management Reporting and Operating Budgets. This position will also operate as the Finance department’s primary Epic report writer and liaison to the Epic BI and IT teams. Coordination of data integrity audits and review of reporting information and formats along with team education and training will also be primary responsibilities.

Education:

Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Finance or Information Technology

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience in Finance, Accounting or Business Intelligence at a Health Care Organization.

1 year of Decision Support, Cost Accounting or Budgeting experience (Preferred)

Certification/Licensure:

Epic Cogito/Clarity Reporting Certification (Strongly Preferred)

C.P.A (Preferred)

• Responsible for technical support of VHC’s Accounting and Decision Support processes and related information system data reporting. (Includes Stratajazz systems, Epic reporting and Workday)
• Development and maintenance of reports and processes to be used in service line analysis, reimbursement, expense management and contract evaluation. Provides information as needed to assist in managerial decision making.
• Creates and provides data and performance metrics to management, external clients, governmental agencies, auditors and rating agencies.
• Oversees the ongoing review of detailed reporting data to ensure data integrity between all VHC financial reporting tools.
• Builds executive dashboards and reports to track service lines and other key metrics.
• Reviews, analyzes and integrates data from multiple internal and external sources. (E.g. Workday, Epic, Med-Metrix and VHHA).
• Leads projects ensuring timelines and deliverables meet expectations.
• Possesses a solid understanding of SQL and the technical aspects of business intelligence reporting.
• Demonstrates the ability to plan, organize and coordinate work with others.
• Provides training and guidance to all financial data users and report consumers.
• Demonstrates strong team player qualities with all staff regardless of service also showing a willingness to take direction from all VHC leaders.
