Job Description
The Finance Systems Manager (FSM) is responsible for supporting the management of the financial consolidation and reporting system (OneStream) as well as supporting the accounting and finance teams across the organization for new requirements and system enhancements.
The FSM will be responsible for ensuring proper controls and safeguards are followed to protect the security and integrity of the company’s financial data. The role will require collaboration with Finance & Accounting, Operations, and IT teams as well as providing feedback to users for corrections and knowledge transfer to drive improvement in quality, process standardization, and analysis of data reported from OneStream.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Finance Systems Manager will be primarily focused on supporting the Finance team (both Accounting & FP&A) to:
• Support the maintenance and administration of our financial consolidation and reporting systems (includes OneStream)
• Support enterprise-wide users during monthly financial closing process in OneStream (resolve any data or reporting issues)
• Develop and maintain ad-hoc reports, dashboards, management reports and integrate operational data into One Stream platform
• Develop and maintain data sources, transformation rules and workflow profiles
• Gather and analyze business requirements, recommend best practices and assist in development, testing and rollout of new application features
• Support FP&A team in ad-hoc analyses or process improvement initiatives
• Support accounting team, as required, to implement solutions required for
statutory and tax reporting
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree with a major in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or related field; plus 5 years of experience with OneStream; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Solid understanding of budgeting and forecasting process; and strong financial background with full understanding and experience with financial models and analysis.
• Experience with EPM tools such as Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and Oracle Planning & Budgeting (PBCS) highly preferred.
• SQL knowledge to develop and debug queries or VB.net experience for developing OneStream platform
• Integration experience with multiple enterprise applications
• Documentation skills. Prior experience documenting business
requirements, solution design and test plans
• Detail oriented; ability to track multiple projects and deliverables
• Strong communication skills and comfortable interacting with various business users and firm stakeholders
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Power Point is required. ERP system experience, preferably SAP
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to complement creative, "out- of-the-box" thinking
• Attention to detail, ability to work cross-functionally and successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture
• Adaptability and flexibility to adjust in an environment with changing requirements, schedules and priorities for multiple projects or assignments.
• Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated.
