About the Role

We're looking for a highly driven and proactive Finance Program Manager who will play a key role within our Finance organization. This role will be responsible for driving key programs across Finance and ensuring our competing priorities are completed timely, accurately, and with the right stakeholders informed. This role will work cross-functionally to ensure appropriate prioritization and successful implementation of our programs while keeping consolidated roadmaps current. The Finance Program Manager will play a crucial role in fostering Finance team engagement, orchestrating events, driving the achievement of strategic deliverables, and enhancing both team cohesion and organizational goals. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to make an impact within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

This is a full-time position based out of our Oakland office.

What You'll Do

  • Leads and oversees Finance programs and projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
  • Influence project teams and customers through the project life cycle using PMO best practices and processes, ultimately leading to successful delivery and completion of defined deliverables and scope
  • Acts as the driving force behind the formulation and maintenance of Finance OKRs and strategic planning initiatives
  • Develops Finance program and project processes and ensures that accurate and timely information is collected and reported regularly on project progress and financial status
  • Develops and maintains resources for managing projects including templates and toolkits encompassing the project management methodology; assist with process documentation and organize functional trainings
  • Coordinates project deliverables and collaborations with internal and external stakeholders
  • Conducts comprehensive status reviews on all project activities on a regular basis to monitor milestone progress; tracks and escalate issues to Finance leadership for awareness and project resolution
  • Coordinate Finance team event planning and presentations
  • Schedule and coordinate agendas / action items for department and cross-functional meetings
  • Coordinate recurring or on-demand meetings for Finance leadership
  • Lead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Finance department to optimize processes and enhance efficiency

Skills We're Looking For

  • 5+ years experience driving Finance department programs in a hyper growth environment
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage simultaneous projects, work under pressure, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to clearly and concisely document and effectively communicate complex projects to internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of management
  • Ability to manage cross-functional dependencies, escalations, risks, and changes effectively by optimizing scope, schedule, and resources accordingly
  • Proven ability to lead change management initiatives
  • Strong finance and business acumen, with a high attention to detail
  • Strategic, execution mindset

This range represents base salary only and does not include incentive for sales roles, equity, or benefits, if applicable.


Pay Range

$145,200—$181,500 USD
