Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage the daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and merchant processing.
- Prepare financial reports as needed.
- Prepare financials for Geographic Area annual budget reporting and analysis on a periodic basis.
- Review event budgets.
- Manage cash flow, donation processing and reporting.
- Generate and file required IRS and other regulatory forms.
- Enforce best practices as well as policies and procedures for the financial accounting system.
- Supervise and train finance assistants in assigned Geographic Areas.
- Interface with volunteers on financial policies, procedures and other matters on a regular basis.
- Troubleshoot problems, consulting available resources as appropriate.

Required Knowledge, Education or Experience
- BA in business or finance required.
- Minimum of 5 years of finance experience; within a non-profit, philanthropic, or donor relations environment a plus.
- High level of confidentiality
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, QuickBooks Online; Salesforce experience is a plus
- Detail-oriented, precise, organized, and proactive
- Ability to work independently and handle concurrent projects and assignments
