Finance Manager
Contract 4+ months with possible extension
40 hours weekly 100% Onsite....
Client is looking for a Site Finance Manager to lead the finance function for the Avionics business unit, which produces space mechanisms and motors.
Finance Manager will be responsible for financial reporting and analysis, cost accounting management, and partnering with the leadership team to shape the profitable growth of the business. Financial reporting responsibilities include the preparation and communication of long range financial projections, annual budgets, and monthly/quarterly reporting and analysis. The incumbent will also work closely with BU management team to create, interpret and make decisions about the financial health of the business. Requirements:
Bachelor's in Accounting and/or Finance Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance including excellent analytical, critical thinking, and data driven, creative problem solving skills Minimum of 2 years of Manufacturing Operations Cost Accounting
Roles & Responsibilities:
Develop relationships with the leadership team and provide, value-added support that is focused on enabling business performance. Understand the strategic business objectives and contribute to the creation, execution, and ongoing development and financial support of that strategy. Prepare and maintain company budget and monthly/quarterly forecasts, including P&L's, Balance Sheet, Cash Flows, Bookings, and a variety of KPI's. Present monthly financial results, variance explanations and analysis to site and group leadership and track financial metrics compared to established goals. Ensure compliance with established company-wide finance and accounting policies and procedures, including the Revenue Recognition (ASC 606) compliance for Over-Time Accounting (long term accounting). Other ad-hoc financial reporting requests.
