We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Associate to join our team, focusing on the firm's balance sheet operations. The person in this role will be responsible for maintaining and improving cash forecasting models, constructing compelling data narratives, and providing actionable insights to guide investment decisions.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the balance sheet operations team on all forward-looking elements, including investment modeling and cash modeling.
Assist in maintaining and improving the firm's cash, liquidity, and tax forecasting models.
Compile data from various sources and conduct insightful financial data modeling in Excel.
Utilize Python and Business Intelligence tools to run simulations and forecasts, highlighting potential risks and opportunities to optimize investment strategy.
Create presentations to effectively communicate data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Actively contribute to business strategy discussions, leveraging models to provide valuable insights and support informed investment decisions.
Qualifications:
A strong commitment to continuous learning and personal development, with a high degree of adaptability and flexibility in a rapidly changing environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to deliver clear and impactful presentations.
Strong Excel skills and experience with financial modeling and data analytics.
A results-driven mindset, with the ability to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team setting.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience with Python or similar tools for running simulations and conducting financial modeling is preferred.
