Our accounting outsourcing practice is seeking a highly skilled and strategic QuickBooks Practice Lead. This pivotal role is designed for an individual who will spearhead the establishment, implementation, and management of our QuickBooks offering, a new venture aimed at enhancing our cloud-based ERP solutions portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a comprehensive strategy for the QuickBooks practice, including the design of implementation and onboarding processes to ensure a seamless experience for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation and execution of the QuickBooks practice strategy, ensuring it aligns with the firm's objectives and market demand.
  • Develop strategic plans to leverage QuickBooks technology to expand service offerings, enhance operational efficiency, and contribute to business growth.
  • Lead the strategic implementation and ongoing optimization of QuickBooks solutions for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and best practices.
  • Act as the primary expert and liaison for all QuickBooks-related inquiries, training, and support for both our implementation and client delivery teams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure seamless integration of QuickBooks with other systems and processes.
  • Regularly review and update QuickBooks configurations, workflows and implementation processes to meet evolving client needs, technological innovations and industry best practices.
  • Design and deliver comprehensive training programs on QuickBooks for implementation and client delivery teams to enhance proficiency and utilization.
  • Manage vendor relationships with Intuit and other related service providers, including negotiating contracts, ensuring alignment with our business needs, and billing review.
  • Strong commitment to providing ongoing support, training, and advisory services to ensure the effective use and continuous optimization of QuickBooks across the organization.
  • Manage a geographically dispersed team of technical consultants. Conduct performance evaluations, mentor, and provide career development guidance for team members.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 5 years of direct experience with QuickBooks system implementation and management.
  • Proven experience in managing and implementing QuickBooks or similar accounting software solutions, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and with clients.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional projects and initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience in change management and process improvement, with a keen ability to drive adoption and optimize accounting operations.
  • Experience working within an outsourced accounting practice, with a deep understanding of the business model, client service delivery, and the ability to manage multiple client accounts and projects simultaneously is a plus.

Compensation Range: $94,500 - $201,300
