Purpose:
This position is an addition to our growing Finance team! The Finance Product team serves as a trusted advisor to the Product team through business partner support and innovative informative analysis. We are looking for forward-thinking, results-oriented individuals who will succeed in a fast-paced environment, and improve processes that will allow the company to scale with growth! This role partners closely with multiple teams across the Company to drive results.
Responsibilities:
- Build trusted relationships with business partners to support strategic decision-making through insightful, thoughtful analysis that is deeply grounded in data and metrics.
- Work cross functionally with other areas of Finance, Product functional teams, Sourcing, Operations and other business partners.
- Analysis of product P&L and sku profitability and recommendations
- Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and drive improvements in execution
- Review of capital investment related to new product launches and analysis, assist with annual budget, as well as monthly forecasting of new product spend
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines and to produce quality work in an organized, timely and efficient manner
- Assist with ad-hoc analysis and requests as needed
Education and Experience/Skills:
- The ideal candidate will possess a B.S. degree in Finance or Accounting from a 4-year college or university with proven experience.
- 3+ years of work experience in analytically demanding financial role
- Outstanding partnership and interpersonal skills, an ability to balance multiple priorities, deep attention to detail, and the propensity to thrive in the ambiguity that comes with a fast-growing organization
- Strong Excel modeling skills for developing complex financial analyses and decision support models
