Film & Television Production Security Officer

Iron Shield Protection, LLC is seeking experienced and licensed Security Officers in the Atlanta, GA, area for the Film & Television Production Security Officer position.

We are seeking officers who demonstrate integrity, professionalism, dependability, and reliability. Officers must be flexible, have fluid schedules, and have a positive attitude and great customer service skills. The Film & Television Production Security Officer role will include keeping our client(s) locations, cast, crew, visitors, and employees safe and problem-free as well as providing equipment and vehicle overwatch.

Requirements

• Preferably have Film/Television Production Security Officer experience.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• MULTIPLE SHIFTS AVAILABLE: Monday - Sunday (Weekdays and weekends)
• MUST be reliable.
• MUST maintain satisfactory attendance and punctuality.
• Must satisfactorily pass all pre-employment screening.
• Must be a citizen of the United States and be age 21+.
• Must be professionally dressed (all-black attire).
• A reliable vehicle is preferred as filming locations may be outside the city limits (at times).

Responsibilities

• Provide security support during all production and filming activities.
• Maintain a safe environment at the production office, filming studios and stages, permitted areas, and remote locations.
• Ensure that all persons at locations are authorized to be present and control access when necessary. Credential verification.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor and remain attentive and proactive while on duty.
• Take responsibility for the tasks assigned to them while also being vigilant in identifying potential issues and resolving those issues.
• Intervene in any situation(s) that may become heated/intense and address unauthorize personnel who try to enter theset without credentials or authorization.
• Protect equipment, gear, production members, cast, and filming locations.
• Work solo or in a team environment. Report to a Supervisor or a Production Security Manager.
• Escort show cast/talent as needed.

Skills

• Proven experience as a Security Officer
• Knowledge of general legal guidelines for area security and public safety.
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Verbal de-escalation techniques.
• Trained in First Aid/BLS and self-defense.

Additional Information

• Filming locations vary depending on the productions.
• Most filming will be within Metro Atlanta. However there may be a requirement to travel within a 50-mile radius.
• As part of the job duties, there may be overnight shifts in remote locations.
