Job Description:
FUNCTION & SCOPE:
The Film Intern will primarily be responsible for filming and editing promotional and informational videos under the guidance of the Director of Talent, Culture & Inclusion. The ideal candidate will be able to do everything from concept to creation including pre-production planning, lighting, filming, editing, adding graphics, as well as publishing to social sites.
Duties
  • Film, edit, and produce promotional and inspirational videos, interviews, executive addresses, short clips for social media, and more as required.
  • Export and organize footage, images, audio, and other digital assets.
  • Photograph and retouch high quality pictures of people, places, and events for website, advertising, newsletters, and social media.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and set up equipment weighing up to 25 lbs.

Requirements:
Education/Experience
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited Master's degree program pursuing a degree in film, television, or related field.
  • Experience creating, editing, and publishing videos.
  • Knowledge of various aspects of video pre- and post-production.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Solid team player with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently.

Compensation for this position: The compensation for this role is $18/hr undergrad and $20/hr grad students.
