We are currently accepting applications for interns to join our Spring 2024 cohort. We are seeking proactive, passionate and motivated students eager to attain hands-on experience within the independent film landscape through the lens of a distribution company. Our Internship Program is immersive and offers a unique and valuable opportunity for you to showcase your skills, creativity, and insights while gaining hands-on experience. The program is designed to provide exposure to various aspects of film distribution, including marketing, publicity, sales, and acquisitions. Responsibilities
- Research marketing and distribution plans to develop knowledge of the competitive landscape; build decks for case studies on past successful releases;
- Conduct grassroots and organizational outreach for current and upcoming NEON releases;
- Keep track of and update catalogue of contacts for non-theatrical sales

As an intern, you will be working closely with a team of professionals in the film industry, and therefore, you must have a passion for film. While primarily in Outreach and Partnerships, you will also be assisting in other department projects, including distribution, acquisitions, and publicity as needed.
To be eligible for this internship, you must be enrolled in an accredited college/university, taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (Spring/Fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR currently participating in a NEON Internship.
Please note the following details regarding the internship:
- The internship will take place from January 2024 to May 2024.
- The salary for this role is $16.04 per hour.
- Candidates are preferred to be available part-time, for approximately 16-24 hours per week or 2-3 full days per week.
- The internship will be primarily on-site at our New York office.
- You must provide your own housing and reliable transportation in the New York area.
