ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adds new material to file records, and creates new files as necessary.
- Eliminates outdated or unnecessary materials, destroying them or transferring them to inactive storage according to file maintenance guidelines and/or legal requirements.
- Finds and retrieves information from files in response to requests from authorized users.
- Keeps records of materials filed or removed, using spreadsheets and computers.
- Tracks materials removed from files in order to ensure that borrowed files are returned.
- Modifies and improves filing systems, or implement new filing systems as necessary.
- Performs periodic inspections of materials or files in order to ensure correct placement, legibility, and proper condition.
- Sorts or classifies information according to guidelines such as content, purpose, user criteria, or chronological, alphabetical, or numerical order.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Required to sit and, or stand for long periods of time.
- Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force as frequently as needed to move objects.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
- Wage, salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with CSUSA wage, salary and benefit policy. Length of the work year and hours of employment shall be those established by Charter Schools USA.

FLSA OVERTIME CATEGORY
Position is non-exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
EVALUATION
Performance will be evaluated in accordance with Charter Schools USA's policy.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Standard High School Diploma or satisfactory completion of an approved General Educational Development (GED) Testing Program.
- Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.
