RCN Capital, LLC is a national, direct private lender providing time-sensitive, bridge financing to real estate investors to fund the purchase of non-owner occupied residential and commercial properties, provide bridge loans, and provide real estate-backed lines of credit.
RCN Capital is looking for a File Clerk to join their Treasury & Capital Markets team. The File Clerk will be responsible for daily administrative tasks including, but not limited to, handling and processing all incoming mortgage documents, scanning trailing documents and updating physical and electronic files, tracking documents and recording necessary information, liaising with Title companies to obtain new documents or corrected documents, and separating documents within the document management system. The File Clerk would be working with the team to ensure that all stages of the document management process are carried out in a timely manner with strong attention to detail.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming mortgage documents
- Scan trailing documents
- Reach out to Title companies for missing or incorrect documents
- Track documents
- Perform day-to-day filing and administrative work
- Separate documents in document management system
- Additional projects and tasks as assigned
Position Requirements
Required Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with MS Office suite, specifically Excel
- Ability to work well on independent tasks as well as in a team environment
Required Experience:
- At least of year of experience in an administrative or office setting
- Experience in post-closing or loan servicing is preferred
Education:
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent required
- A.S. in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Accounting, or related field is preferred
Schedule:
- Full Time
- Monday-Friday, 9:00AM to 6:00PM
- This position is an onsite, in-office role
