ECS Limited is offering a unique opportunity for a talented Field Technician to join our team and advance in a dynamic work environment. No prior experience is required, as you'll work under the guidance of experienced professionals to perform a variety of tasks. You may also use your own vehicle and earn mileage reimbursement, or you may use a company truck on work sites.

Responsibilities

• Field Activities: Conduct observation, testing, sampling, and inspection of materials, including soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel placement. Execute tasks based on project requirements under the guidance of senior technicians, staff professionals, and project managers.
• Testing Procedures: Conduct routine field and/or laboratory tests for soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, and asphalt using various methodologies and testing equipment.
• Data Collection: Perform calculations and data reduction based on sampling, test results, and inspections. Engage in drafting and other administrative duties as required.
• Communication: Maintain daily communication with site contractors, fellow technicians, and project managers.
• Training and Development: Receive training in ECS methodology for project observations, inspections, and testing. Document findings in accordance with accepted engineering practices.

• High School diploma or GED required.

• No experience required - we will train and certify you.

• Position requires carrying 40 – 70 lbs multiple times a day or occasionally lifting 85 lbs to waist height.

• May drive own vehicle on work sites for mileage reimbursement (company truck provided).
