Job Overview:

The Field Technician will be responsible to support a region of clubs as it relates to day to day repair and maintenance issues. This person will spend the majority of their time in the field visiting clubs.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all fitness equipment to ensure it is working properly.
• Ensure he/she is knowledgeable about all of the tools, equipment, and material used for repair of in-club machines.
• Service channel (Work order platform)
• Work closely with Field Supervisor to ensure efficient completion and tracking of all tasks
• Respond to all service requests in the locations he/she supports in a timely manner.
• Maintain the cleanliness of all storage areas and ensure accurate inventory is kept.
• Ensure all equipment repair is logged and up to date.
• Partner with the club managers in the region as it relates to preventative care of the fitness equipment in their club.

Qualifications:

• Able to handle/move equipment and inventory in excess of 100 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
• Must be comfortable to use tools, climb on ladders, etc.
• Familiarity and ability to work on all types of fitness equipment.
• Must have strong sense of initiative and be able to work independently
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, carry 65 lbs
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of computers.
