Field Technician - Bitcoin Mining Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Field Technician to oversee and maintain Giga Bitcoin mining facilities. The role involves hands-on technical work, ensuring the continuous operation of our natural gas generators and the ASIC miners.

Responsibilities:

- Provide on-call support to troubleshoot and restart natural gas generators as needed

- Conduct minor part changes on generators on-site

- Ensure optimal performance of mining hardware through proactive support and maintenance

- Work flexibly across various sites, adapting to the needs of each location

- Commit to shift work, including extensive hours and weekend duties

Requirements

• Ability to work independently in remote, off-grid locations
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures
• Flexibility to work long hours, including weekends, as part of a shift work schedule
• 1-3 years of experience in operations

Preferences:

• Strong enthusiasm for bitcoin and mining industry

• Oil and gas experience

• Experience with electrical and mechanical equipment
