Travel: Up to 15% travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations required to support mission activities.
As a Wing Readiness Technician, you will be responsible for providing high-level administrative support by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, and handling information requests, as well as performing routine administrative functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings. May also train and supervise lower-level clerical staff.
Who You Are and What You Need:
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience with AF readiness reporting and deployment operations required
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience with AF administrative operations and affected organizations required
What You Will Do:
- Provide readiness reports in for resources, capabilities, deliberate crisis action planning and execution, and deployments.
- Ensure reporting is completed on a monthly basis; quality checks all readiness reports.
- Provide initial and quarterly readiness training.
- Liaise between subordinate units and NAF/MAJCOM as necessary to resolve discrepancies and meet readiness deadlines.
- Assist subordinate units with preparing readiness reports.
- Assist Wing Force Readiness Manager for readiness and deployment briefs.
- Maintain databases such as DRRS, DCAPES, ASIMS, ARIS, LMS, CCTK, and e-DRC, and assist subordinate units with doing so.
