Position Description:
A chainman works as a member of a field survey party under the guidance of a survey party chief. Duties may include assisting the survey party chief with the setting of precise locations and measurement of construction control lines, elevations, areas and contours for construction, topography, and monument recovery. Duties also include equipment maintenance.
This position requires hard physical work in an outdoor environment and maintaining the physical condition necessary for manual and physical dexterity. The successful candidate must be comfortable on construction job sites and working with hand and power tools. A valid driver license is required.
This is an entry level position with significant growth opportunity for the right candidate.
Surveying experience is preferred; relatable construction experience will be considered.
Compensation:
Compensation for the position is based on education, knowledge, skills, attitude, and experience.
Salary Range: $61,600-$124,800
Position includes a generous benefit package with a 401k match and Incentive Compensation Bonus Program
Location:
This position will be staffed from our Modesto office.
