Manage one or two sites, buildings and/or petroleum construction projects for New Stores, Rebuilds and White Block Refresh (WBR) within an assigned zone.
RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)
- Review project contract scopes of work, drawings, contracts, permits, special conditions, geotechnical issues, environmental issues, etc. with the assigned Project Manager(s) prior to starting a project(s). Attend pre-construction meetings with Owners, inspection agencies and utility providers prior and during the execution of the project(s).
- Schedule and coordinate the mobilization of all discipline contractors to maintain the project schedule.
- In collaboration with the Project Manager (s) and contractor(s), develop a construction schedule outline and establish milestone completion dates for the start and finish of major construction activities, inspections and required Sheetz supplied material delivery dates.
- Manage one or two projects on a daily basis pertaining to all on and off site work, building, electrical, HVAC, petroleum, plumbing, equipment installation and various special construction to insure all work is being performed in accordance with all Sheetz Inc, Federal and Safety standards.
- Communicate with all required Sheetz departments, Third Party Engineers, and Owners to resolve design changes, changed site conditions, environmental impacts, code violations, complaints, and confirm materials, equipment, and delivery schedules
- Schedule, coordinate and document construction inspections with all applicable federal, state and local inspection agencies as required.
- Schedule, conduct and document weekly project meetings of Contractor safety, quality, schedule and cost. Review, approve and process Contractor invoices and change orders, and obtain Waivers of Lien as well as manage the contract change order process. This also includes confirming all Sheetz supplied materials and equipment.
- Create as-built drawings for all underground utilities, and MEP changes from the planned installation drawings. Maintain a weekly progress photo log and daily construction activity reports.
- Provide schedule updates and feedback for assigned projects at monthly project review meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- High School diploma required
- Associate Degree in Construction Management / Project Management or related Field preferred
Experience
- Minimum 1 year management / supervisory experience required.
- Minimum 3 years commercial construction management / project management experience required
Licenses/Certifications
- Valid Driver's License
- CPR/First Aid
