Responsible for overseeing the Field Services Trainers and ensuring Field Trainers deliver the highest level of customer service possible. Supervises, trains, coaches, and mentors team members. Contributes to functional strategy development. Collaborates on the development and implementation of training for new processes, procedures, products, and people.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Builds a high-performance team of trainers, hires, and retains the right talent in the right toles; set goals, delegates work, holds reports accountable; develops and empowers direct reports to make decisions and take actions.
  • Monitors individual employee performance on an ongoing basis
  • Responsible for conducting formal reviews with employees under this position's supervision.
  • Complete in-person training observations quarterly, with the understanding that more frequent observation may be needed.
  • Demonstrates Company's values, maintains a positive open demeanor, encourages different points of view, moves team forward through change; provides timely information; communicates context for business decisions; recognizes accomplishments; fosters teamwork and collaboration. Develop and deliver training programs to all ALLO Field Services associates that support and drive our culture and support our core values company-wide.
  • Isolate and identify areas of improvement.
  • Assist in planning and implementing new procedures promptly, allowing Field Services employees the ability to carry out their responsibilities.
  • Develop the organization from a performance and culture perspective by implementing and overseeing programs that increase efficiency, strengthen associate knowledge and abilities, improve leadership, and maintain the overall health of the company.
  • Work closely with the management team to identify, develop and implement strategic organizational training effectiveness initiatives that enhance associate performance, development, and engagement.
  • Oversee and provide guidance to team members, as necessary, in the implementation and training of Field Services Teammates.
  • Monthly meetings with Field Services Supervisors to discuss training needs and feedback.
  • Complete Weekly 1 on 1's with teammates under this position's supervision.
  • Attend weekly and monthly supervisor meetings and trainings.
  • Lead training for teammates under this position's supervision.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience required

EXPERIENCE:
  • 5 years working with Fiber optics, CATV, Telephone or telecommunication equipment.
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Experience managing operational processes
  • Experience with developing team.

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to convey that information succinctly and clearly.
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization capabilities.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Well-versed in communicating at both the technician as well as executive levels.
  • Ability to positively influence and collaborate with stakeholders in other organizations to accomplish objectives while maintaining relationships.
  • Excellent leadership abilities and interpersonal skills with employees, customers, and external parties and the ability to develop and drive a team-oriented operational culture.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Able to operate company vehicle and maintain a driver's license in good standing
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Raise objects up to 25 lbs.
  • Raise objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Remain upright on feet for extended periods
  • Remain stationary for extended periods
  • Ability to communicate information

  • 75% Travel requirement
  • Ability to facilitate training in a classroom setting and 1 on 1
  • Ability to maintain a training schedule
