What to Expect What You’ll Bring
As a Commercial Field Service Technician, you will be empowered to work across the entire Tesla organization to problem solve and ensure the success of our Commercial Energy Field Service execution. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance services to Tesla’s commercial products such as solar PV systems, energy storage, and electric vehicle charging stations.
What You’ll Do- Perform required preventive maintenance activities on commercial inverters to maintain warranty coverage
- Respond to corrective maintenance cases on all commercial energy products and updating online case logs accurately
- Work closely with members of the Operations Engineering Systems Reliability team to respond to open case directions and provide data where requested
- Report writing, where required, to comply with deliverables in commercial O&M contracts
- Respond to customers’ concerns with the performance or functionality of their system
- Respond to corrective maintenance cases on all commercial energy products and updating online case logs accurately
- Work closely with members of the Operations Engineering Systems Reliability team to respond to open case directions and provide data where requested
- Report writing, where required, to comply with deliverables in commercial O&M contracts
- Respond to customers’ concerns with the performance or functionality of their system
- Driver's License Required
Compensation and Benefits
Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire:
$21.55 - $55.06/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
