Futura Mobility is a leading company in the Workforce Support industry in the region. We're now hiring a Field Service Technician to help us keep growing. Our Technology Center is comprised of Field Service Technicians, engineers, help desk and technical support personnel. - Responsibilities
- Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches
- Manage all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks
- Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
- Produce timely and detailed service reports
- Document processes
- Respond quickly to customer issues
- Advise and demonstrate/educate customers on the equipment as needed
- Operate vehicle in a safe manner and use field automation systems
- Follow all company’s filed procedures and protocols
- Cooperate with the technical team and share information across the organization
- Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings
- Build positive relationships with customers
- High school diploma/GED equivalent, Technical degree, or certification preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, diagnose, repair, and technical service equipment
- Previous experience working in a hospital/healthcare setting is highly preferred
- Proven Field Service experience
- Great mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift to 55 pounds
- Ability to stand on your feet up to 8 hours a day
- Great communication skills to work with customers
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules/priorities
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English
- Willingness to drive a straight truck is a plus. Medical Cert required.
- Experience working with nursing carts and power systems (Capsa, Rubbermaid, Ergotron, Enovate, Tripplite, etc....) would be preferred
- Logistics
- Must live within a daily commuting distance (15 - 20 miles) of 18936 to be considered or willing to relocate (Relocation costs will not be reimbursed for this role)
- Hours - Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
- Valid PA Driver's License and reliable (own) method of Transportation
- Current IRS standard mileage rates will apply
