BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION
The Field Service Specialist (FSS) will represent KUBOTA Tractor Corporations Service Department at independently owned KUBOTA dealerships within an assigned region of the US. Efforts of the FSS are focused on direct technical support of dealers, dealer technician development and timely and accurate documentation of product technical concerns. Utilizing technical experience and KUBOTA machine functional and operational knowledge, the FSS will develop the ability of KUBOTA dealers to provide world class technical support to our mutual end customer.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES: This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws / regulations and the Company’s policies, procedures and guidelines:

• Focused on documenting technical issues and concerns on KUBOTA M Heavy products.
• Creating of Technical Service Reports in the Kubota Service Cloud.
• Train and provide onsite support to dealer personnel on Kubota technical repair procedures.
• Participate in surveys with KUBOTA customers and dealers on a regular basis.
• Deliver a Dealer Support Experience based on the pillar of KUBOTA Service
• Connection – Ensure dealer have a connected KUBOTA Service Experience
• Development – Grow the ability of the dealer to provide the local markets best service experience for end customers.
• Training – Dealers able to enhance skills through knowledge / information from KUBOTA University
• Relies on independent decision-making and problem solving to complete job tasks
• Active participation in scheduling and confirming work activities.
• Organize and support regional technical training.
• Research and documentation of technical issues as direct by the Technical Support Center.
• Support of TSC by reviewing documents and manuals as well as other support activities
• Assist and participate in internal training programs
• Additional duties as assigned by management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Technical School or Bachelor’s degree preferred:
• In lieu of a degree at least 3 years related experience in the Service Industry required.
• With a technical or Bachelor’s degree in a related field 1 year of experience required.
• The FSS must work through and pass the Master Service Specialist curriculum offered by KUBOTA University within 2 years of starting the position.
• Detailed knowledge of North American farming or construction operational practices.
• Ability to analyze Ag or Heavy Equipment performance issues and quickly identify resolutions.
• Strong ability to train others on mechanics, hydraulic and electronics.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.

EQUIPMENT OPERATION (% of time, description, nature of service):
Tractors, lawn and garden equipment, excavators, skid steer loaders and rough terrain vehicles- Frequent repair, Operation, and Training.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The FSS must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
