As a Field Service Planner you will be responsible for efficiently and effectively coordinating service technicians to meet customer’s needs across the US & Canada. You will handle communication with external customers and internal sales/service teams and management while adhering to all Field Service planning and operational requirements of the position.
Job Responsibilities:
- Frequent, consistent and accurate proactive communication with customers regarding their current service needs. This includes dates, times, names and parts for service visits.
- Accurately maintain a shared planning board to efficiently optimize resource utilization, availability and customer responsiveness.
- Assign technical resources to respond promptly to service requests, while giving consideration to request severity and priority, customer segmentation, and technician qualifications and availability.
- Prepare and send quotations for services to customers, including commercial terms and conditions.
- Generate service orders used to schedule on-site service visits.
- Determine service stock availability and process shipments of service parts and ensure delivery meets scheduling deadline.
- Manage multiple programs/resources concurrently to ensure accurate and timely completion of work.
Job Requirements:
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in a company with an industrial focus in a mission-critical environment.
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
- Able to compile, track and manage information and data with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Capable of prioritizing activities and completing time-sensitive tasks.
- Strong interpersonal and customer relationship management skills.
- Able to work and make decisions independently with minimal supervision and guidance.
- Call center skill sets with call management, data entry and typing proficiencies.
- Familiar with common Microsoft applications, including Teams, Outlook & Excel
- ERP experience (preferably SAP and/or SalesForce)
- Bilingual French preferred
Work Arrangement : Hybrid
The standard hours of this role are 11:00am-8:00pm EST.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
