Field Service Engineer

Sartorius is seeking a dynamic entrepreneurially spirited Field Service Engineer based remotely in the Philadelphia, PA Area. In this role you will be supporting cutting edge equipment. You will act as a trusted partner supporting customers with management of installations & commissioning, calibration, and preventative maintenance across a range of systems.

Primary responsibilities include:

• You will provide service and customer support during field and inhouse visits or dispatches
• You will manage all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks
• You are able to diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
• Produce timely and detailed service reports
• Ensure the timely and correct documentation of processes
• You are able to operate vehicle in a safely manner and use field automation systems
• You will follow all company's filed procedures and protocols
• Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization
• Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations / briefings
• Contact customers concerning processes of the customer file
• You have the ability to build positive relationships with customers

Qualifications:

• You have obtained a bachelor’s degree in an Electrical/Electronic discipline, minimum of an associate's degree or equivalent combination of industry experience and technical/military training
• You have 2+ years’ Service experience working on electrical and mechanical equipment
• Proven working knowledge with MS Office software, including Outlook, Word and Excel
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
• Valid Driver's License
• Familiarity with mobile tools and applications
