Field Service Engineer

The leading electronic measurement company who is also on the forefront of technology innovations. This role is for Field Service Engineer and we are looking for candidates to collaborate with Tellus Solutions to create innovative solutions and to fulfill on our client's mission.
Job Description:

• Perform manual and automated calibration, adjustments, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of Test & Measurement electronic equipment and 5G equipment at our Client service center or customer's sites.
• Evaluate test failures, distinguishing between hardware & system software to determine if repair or re-alignment is required
• Perform calibration and adjustment procedures on client and non-client products
• Install software and firmware upgrades that may include a re-image of the customer's instrument
• Utilize strong computer skills, including automated Calibration Systems
• Understand, and utilize STE, TME, ETMS, and PC-based software as required
• Work and adhere to quality standards for ISO 9001, ANSI/NCSL Z540-3, and ISO/IEC 17025 Client quality program
• ssist in maintaining the Calibration team's accreditation through participation in proficiency testing, quality measure assurance programs, and applicable training
• Use excellent communication and organizational skills to interface with customers and peers effectively.
• Establish and maintain close communication with customers to ensure optimal performance of customers' and Client Technologies' test equipment assets
• Ensure compatibility between customer expectations and support provided by Client Technologies.
• Work on service assignments with clearly defined objectives

• Bachelor's Degree, University Degree, Technical School or Military PMEL/TMDE or equivalent industry experience
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience in Field Customer Support of Test and Measurement instruments.
• Must have calibration service experience of all types of Client Test Equipment to include RF/ Microwave skills
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision and interface effectively with fellow team members, customers, and management while adhering to the highest standards of business ethics
• Must be knowledgeable of current quality standards for ISO 9001, ANSI/NCSL Z540-3, and ISO/IEC 17025
• Requires the ability and desire to learn system/automated calibration software
• bility to calibrate instruments both manually and using automated test procedures
• Experience using automated calibration software platforms (STE, TME, PC Based, etc.) is a plus.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills to interface with customers and peers.
• Must be flexible and capable of working in a changing priorities environment to meet strict performance metrics
• Understand project timeline, goals, and processes and take the lead to complete those requirements.
• Be able to interface and take the lead between the customer and Client to solve complex project objectives.
• The candidate must have a valid driver's license.
• Excellent troubleshooting and technical skills
• Candidates must be in the local area (Elk Horn, IA) or willing to relocate.
• Must have the ability to lift 50 lbs and 30 lbs overhead.
• Must be flexible to work/travel weekends
