  • Customer Support: Provide technical support and training to customers, including robot operators and maintenance staff, to help them effectively utilize and maintain our robotic systems.
  • Documentation: Help develop our system to maintain detailed records of service activities, including maintenance logs, part failures/usage, troubleshooting procedures, and customer interactions, to track issues and facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and customer success, to escalate and resolve complex technical issues and contribute to product improvement efforts.
  • Field Testing and Feedback: Participate in field testing and evaluation of new robot features and functionalities, providing feedback to engineering teams to inform product development and enhancement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Field Service or technical support roles, preferably in the robotics industry.
  • Strong technical skills and hands-on experience with robotic/electromechanical systems, including hardware and software components.
  • Excellent problem-solving and project management skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with humanoid robotics concepts, such as kinematics, dynamics, and motion planning, is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, C/C++, and ROS (Robot Operating System).
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to customer sites as needed (approximately 30%-50% travel).

Perks:

  • Competitive base w/ benefits
  • Highly motivating equity incentive package
  • Flexible work hours policy
  • Professional development opportunities
  • Open Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • 401k plan
