Job Description:
· Calibrate EMC and ESD measurement and test equipment, which includes compiling, measuring, and recording data gathered during calibration.
· Perform repair and maintenance of EMC and ESD systems.
· Follow company's Accredited ISO 17025 processes and procedures for calibration or repair of equipment.
· Perform basic maintenance of precision equipment.
· Ensure customer satisfaction and timely turnaround on all calibration and repairs.
· May be required to travel 50%-75% of the time, based on company needs.
Qualifications
· Must have hands on experience with Automated Test Equipment (Oscilloscopes, Multimeters and High Voltage Probes etc.)
· Familiarity with international ISO standards is recommended, along with a good understanding of electricity and electrical circuitry.
· Experience with high voltage equipment (>5 kV).
· Good communication skills.
· Customer service focus.
· Strong Windows PC skills.
· Must be able to work around high voltage equipment in a safe manner.
· Must be able to work independently.
Requirements:
· Must have a valid US license and passport
· Must have ability to travel out of the US
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
· Occasional standing and bending are required
· Must have a minimum of 2 years advanced training or experience in electronic principles in a calibration laboratory setting.
Education/Experience Requirements:
· Military electronics training (PMEL) experience and/or
· Technical degree in Electronics
