Career Transitions is currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a full-service environmental consulting firm specializing in a variety of services designed to reduce liabilities associated with environment issues. They have offices in Geneva, IL and Indianapolis, IN. Currently seeking an experienced Field Geologist to join their growing organization out of their Indianapolis, In location.   

Essential Tasks:

• This position will be responsible for field work, data collection, data evaluation and report preparation.
• Ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently with field work and report writing.
• Successful candidate must have strong organizational and time management skills, self-motivated with a dedicated work ethic. 

Field GeologistRequirements for Position:

• Bachelor’s degree, (i.e. Geology, Environment Science. etc.) with anywhere from 3-7 years of relevant experience doing Field work.
• Ability to be hands-on, use a variety of equipment, and not afraid working in a variety of environments.
• Able to adapt as a result of workloads and/or deadlines.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently, and take initiative.
• Able to mentor fresh grads.
