POSITION SUMMARY
This position performs engineering and technical work at the field level. Demonstrates safe work habits and works well as a team.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Ensure compliance with management directives and AST policies, processes, and procedures by engineering department.
- Participate in pre-job meetings with engineering management, operations, sales team, and customers.
- Coordinate with proppant and chemical departments for pre-job set up.
- Review proppant and chemicals brought to the wellsite prior to job and review all
QAQC testing performed by fluid technicians and backside supervisors.
- Review well stimulation procedures with service supervisor and consultant.
- Ensure proper display and recording of requested parameters and raw data.
- Monitor the well, fluid system and proppant during a fracturing treatment.
- Keep close inventory on chemicals and proppant on the wellsite to keep the site operational.
- Send remote data transmission each stage and upload stage report as required.
- Generate and review invoices, post job reports, and chemical disclosures.
- Offer technical knowledge and recommendations to service supervisors, other engineers, or to customer when well issues arise.
- Give customers recommendations for well completions.
- Meet with customers for post-job reviews and analysis.
- When requested, assist in the design of job models for customers based upon applicable scientific, mathematic, and engineering principals and taking into consideration geological data and operational parameters, requirements, and/or restrictions of the customer and the objectives of the customer.
- Assist Lab personnel with sample collection of customer fluids and initial testing prior to treatment of reservoir and evaluate test results to determine proper fluids use for job as designed.
- Performs other related duties as required.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or applied sciences (geology, physics, chemistry, etc.).
- 0 - 2 years of work-related experience preferred.
- Ability to proficiently use Microsoft Office applications, Excel, MS Word, etc...
- A firm understanding of hydraulics, mechanical power, physics, and chemistry.
- Self-motivation and ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Multitasking, interpersonal communication and attention to detail are all required skills.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, a satisfactory driving record for the past 3 years, and no current DWI charges.
POSITION BONUSES
- Ability to effectively run and troubleshoot MFrac, SMARTS, Fracpro or similar frac software.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
