Fiber Technician I

Duties:

Seeking an individual qualified for ITS Fiber Optic Installation and Maintenance. Must be willing to learn and perform Traffic Signal Installation and Maintenance.

Desired qualifications:

• 2-5 years’ experience splicing & terminating fiber.
• Must be able to use and understand OTDR reports and test equipment
• Certifications in ETA, FOA, IMSA, BICSI, or FTTH preferred
• IMSA Traffic Signal Technician certification available

Experience:

• Splicing & terminating fiber: desired 2 years
