Member Duties : Our VISTA Leader supports 6 VISTA members and focuses on their professional development and the success of their projects. You will have a hand in member recruitment, selection, orientation and training; data collection; grant reporting; professional development; teambuilding; and supporting the sustainability of the projects. If you are passionate about social justice and fighting poverty, enjoy working collaboratively, communicate effectively orally and in writing, are super organized and pay attention to detail, this position is for you. Bring your creativity as a trainer and team leader and your experience as an exceptional AmeriCorps participant to this wonderful opportunity. The VISTA Leader will meet monthly with VISTA Supervisors, weekly with FC's executive director & bi-weekly with FC's staff; manage monthly professional development workshops and monthly presentations for VISTAs.
