We are looking for leadership-oriented managers hoping to advance their careers toward becoming partners in our general office. New York Life Insurance Company is currently recruiting participants for its Fast Track Management Program. You will start as a financial professional who works hand-in-hand with clients to build your experience as you move through the program's requirements. Responsibilities
• Help clients reach their financial goals using a hands-on approach to developing customized, long-term strategies that meet their needs
• Recruit and develop your own team of financial professionals as an Associate Partner
• Join our intensive, six-month Associate Partner Training Program to further your business acumen and expertise while working toward a management position
• Present potential solutions using a comprehensive array of our financial products and services, including life insurance, fixed and variable annuities, and mutual funds
• Complete the program requirements and join the management team as an associate partner
Qualifications
• MBA completion within the previous 24 months
• Prior management or business owner experience
Preferred but not required to apply:
• Life and Health License
• FINRA registrations; SIE, Series 6 or 7
Qualities that we look for in our Agents:
• Strong communication skills
• Desire to help others
• Strong business acumen
• Perseverance in the face of a challenge
• Ability to engage your community and leverage personal networks/contacts
• Bilingual in Spanish, Portuguese, or another language is a plus
• Cultural markets knowledge preferred but not required
• Experience in the financial services industry and/or insurance industry is required
• Sales experience necessary
