SalaryWe are looking for enthusiastic, hardworking, and passionate marketeers to work at our booths at Farmers' Markets throughout the Bay Area over the weekends, particularly at the Santa Cruz Live Oak Market on Sundays and possibly other Santa Cruz County areas. We'd love to have someone in the Watsonville/Corralitos/Moss Landing/Aptos/East SC County area drive our van to the Santa Cruz markets and possibly even Mountain View/Los Gatos/Campbell Farmers' Markets in the future. For this position you would be assigned one market for the day, you will leave the Watsonville area in our La Vie van loaded with merchandise and equipment, then setup, selling, cashiering, cleanup. Enjoy the fun atmosphere of Farmers' Markets while interacting with awesome people and spreading your knowledge about probiotic and superfood health!

They excel at engaging with customers and connect customers with products that will help them on their wellness journey. They have great customer service skills, are detail oriented, communicate clearly, can take direction and effectively complete tasks, can work in a fast paced environment, can lift/drag up to 50 pounds, are friendly and personable….and have fun!
Participating markets include Santa Cruz, Los Gatos, Campbell, Mountain View, San Mateo, Alameda, Pleasanton, Walnut Creek, Danville, San Rafael, SF: Fort Mason, Ferry Building, Clement street, Divisadero, Fillmore, Stonestown and more!
Duties and Responsibilities:
We'd love to have someone in the Watsonville/Corralitos/Moss Landing/Aptos/East SC County area drive our van to the Santa Cruz and possible also Mountain View/Los Gatos/Campbell Farmers' Markets. For this position you would be assigned one market for the day, you will leave the Watsonville area in our La Vie van loaded with merchandise and equipment, then complete setup, selling, cashiering, cleanup. Enjoy the fun atmosphere of Farmers' Markets while interacting with awesome people and spreading your knowledge about probiotic and superfood health!
We will train you in what you need to know, we just ask that you come with an open mind, a positive attitude, and a desire to connect with people!
Education and Experience:
- Some level of prior exposure to probiotics, healthy lifestyle and fermentation are recommended
- Prior Farmers' Market vending is desirable, but not necessary. Attitude and the ability to connect with customers and their needs are most important.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, drag and lower 100 lb full ice chests out of the van, carry and set up a 10x10 commercial-duty canopy (we will teach you)
- Sales experience and cashiering experience preferred - Basic math skills for retail, cash handling, use of ipad for shopify sales
- Attention to detail, capacity and curiosity to learn
- Valid CA driver's license, copy of good driving record for interview

After a successful phone interview and prior to hiring, the applicant will attend an in person interview at the market to see if the position is a good fit for all involved. We have no tolerance for no shows and tardiness. Please be able to work at least four days a month and with no last minute cancellations! We are flexible on which days you work and time off, as long as it's arranged ahead of time.
