As a Sustainable Luxury Candle Company, we are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Farmer's Market Sales Associate to join our team. As the Sales Market Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers and ensuring the smooth operation of our retail booth at farmer's market. Responsibilities
- Setting up and organizing the booth and display
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service by offering product information, demonstrating how to effectively experience the candle aroma with candle cloches, and answering questions.
- Process customer transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Maintain a clean and organized market area
- Ensure products are properly displayed
- Monitor inventory levels
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures
- Demonstrate knowledge of products, promotions, and company policies

Commute:
- Must have reliable transportation to commute to the workplace and farmer's markets with all farmer market booth supplies.
Physical Ability:
- Must be able to lift and maneuver up to 38 lbs .
- Ability to stand for extended periods at farmer's markets.
Availability:
- Must be available on Saturdays and Sundays.
Time Efficiency:
- Punctuality is essential for all scheduled work hours.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Retail sales experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with retail math concepts is an asset
