Farm Worker

We are looking for people who have a passion in farming, gardening, cooking, and who enjoy good, rewarding hard-work.

Responsibility:

1.Take part in mechanical transplanting of all crops using a ‘Waterwheel Transplanter’.

2. Help in the greenhouse with seeding, transplanting and potting up.

3. Harvest vegetables; bunching, picking, and using Quick Cut Greens Harvester

4. Wash and pack vegetables and fruit for market and wholesale

5. Assist with tractor cultivation and hand weeding

6. General farm work; covering crops with remay and hoops, shoveling, raking, etc.

Must be able to: Take directions well, Work in a team setting or by yourself, be able to lift 50 lbs, drive a pickup truck and bend over frequently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
