Farm and food processing worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking worker to join our team. As a Farm Worker, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to food production and processing. This is a hands-on role that requires physical stamina and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

- Plant, cultivate, and harvest crops according to seasonal schedules

- Operate hand machinery and equipment

- Monitor irrigation systems and adjust as needed

- Perform routine maintenance on farm equipment

- Sort, grade, and package harvested produce

- Follow FDA regulations and maintain compliance with food safety standards

- Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas

- Assist with fabricating and assembling materials as needed

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a farm or agricultural setting preferred

- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating quantities

- Knowledge of food processing techniques and industry standards

- Familiarity with FDA regulations and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices)

- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Note: This position requires the ability to lift heavy objects ( at least 50 lbs), stand for long periods of time, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
