Job Description
Super-Sod, the largest supplier of sod in the Southeast, is seeking an experienced Farm Laborer to join our Middle Georgia farm team. Experience operating tractors, forklifts, farm equipment, and/or heavy machinery is a plus. Bilingual skills in English-Spanish is a plus.
Pay Rate: $16 per hour.
Classification: Exempt*

Under manager supervision, a Farm Laborer / Machine Operator performs work of moderate difficulty in the operation of various mechanical farm equipment; performs related farm and harvesting work as assigned.
Essential Functions

- Operates various mechanical farming equipment used in agricultural production, such as mowers, forklifts, and sprayers as well as other manual harvesting equipment.
- Performs inspection and maintenance of equipment, vehicles, buildings, and facilities.
- Participates in construction/maintenance projects.
- May train new staff or act as lead worker.
- May keep records and prepare reports.
- Performs other related tasks related to agriculture harvesting as assigned by Farm Supervisor.
