2nd shift schedule is Monday - Thursday, 3:15pm - 1:45am
Base pay + 10% hourly shift pay

GENERAL PURPOSE

Describe the basic function of the job; the reason the job exists.

The purpose for this role is to perform various functions such as deburring, polishing, washing, assembling, bead blasting, and visualizing to ensure customer required finishes. This role will pull set up sheets, run vibratory tumblers, bead blast, hand finish, and straighten parts.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This position may participate in one or more of the following duties as directed by supervision or management.

Examine cleaned objects to ensure conformance to standards.

Use hand tools such as deburring knives, chamfer tools, sheet sandpaper, and files to finish parts.

Operate and use vibratory finishing machines to tumble parts.

Operate and use bead blast blasting systems.

Verify that the serial number on the part tag matches the serial number on the part and fill that information out in a spreadsheet.

Able to pull set up sheets to complete parts.

Obtain first piece and move forward on completing a job.

Develop knowledge to be able to make edits to the set-up sheets to improve efficiencies.

Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Responsible to conduct yourself and ensure your subordinates (if applicable) conduct themselves in a manner consistent with company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and other standards of conduct.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or GED required.

1-2 years of manufacturing experience is preferred.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.

Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize and adapt to shifting priorities.


Exceptional problem solving and decision-making skills and the ability to think independently.

Must pay attention to detail.

Ability to read blueprints and use hand tools is a plus.

Must be able to work in other areas on an as needed basis.
