The Oregon Health Authority has a fantastic opportunity for a Family Medical Leave Analyst to join an excellent team. We are looking to fill two positions: This is for one (1) Full-Time, Permanent, Managerial Services-Managerial, and one (1) Full-Time, Limited Duration, Managerial Services-Managerial position with the Agency Operations.
The AA Salary Range for this position is between $4457.00 to $6573.00 per month.
What you will do!
Administer, review and track Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Oregon Family Leave Act (OFLA), Oregon Military Family Leave Act (OMFLA), and coordinate Hardship and Bereavement Leave Donations for employees within the Oregon Health Authority.

What we are looking for:
A Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior or Development, Business or Public Administration, the Applied Behavioral Sciences, Industrial Relations or a job-related course of study determined by the appointing authority; OR
Valid Certification as a Professional in Human Resource awarded by the Human Resource Certification Institute, and one-year Human Resource experience;
OR three years Human Resource paraprofessional or technical-level experience.
The State Certified Human Resources Professional (SCHRP) certification, awarded by the Oregon Chief Human Resources Office, substitutes for six months of human resource professional-level experience.
Valid Certification as a SHRM Certified Professional awarded by a nationally recognized organization, substitutes for one year of human resource professional-level experience.
Requested Skills:
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and effectively manage irate and hostile members.
  • Must be able to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines and have flexibility, work demand tolerance and exhibit written and oral communication skills including effective communication with coworkers.
  • Must be proficient in Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
