We are seeking a skilled Family Law Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of Family Law and litigation experience and is interested in starting a criminal defense practice (dealing primarily with domestic violence and juvenile deliquency cases). Must Be an Active Member of the Florida Bar. Must Also Speak Spanish.The salary offered is a base salary and the candidate will receive a portion of the cases brought into the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research using Lexis-Nexis
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery and correspondence
- Attend hearings, trials and mediations
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide case updates
- Manage case files and ensure all documents are organized and up-to-date
