Family Child Care Contractor 

MAHUBE-OTWA Community Action Partnership, Inc. is seeking a Family Childcare contractor in Detroit  Lakes, MN to provide care for in a new partnership with Ecumen in Detroit Lakes. This is an excellent  opportunity for new providers to start a business or for established providers looking to move their  business out of their home. This contractor will provide care in the Ecumen facility for Ecumen staff  members and families eligible for Head Start. The childcare space is partially furnished with access to a  fenced outdoor play space.  
QUALIFICATIONS: Required: Previous experience in Family Childcare or other early childhood setting.  Must have or be willing to obtain a current Family Childcare license and a Child Development Associate  Credential (CDA) or equivalent coursework/credential. Preferred: Associate or Bachelor degree in  Early Childhood Education with 1-3 years early childhood experience and a current Family Child Care  license. 

BASIC FUNCTION: Family childcare contractors agree to provide Head Start services within their childcare setting in a partnership with MAHUBE-OTWA Head Start. Contractors receive financial compensation for fulfilling contract terms, and have access to supplies, equipment, professional  development, an accelerated 4 Star Parent Aware rating, and ongoing technical assistance from  program staff. Contractors must adhere to the Agency Standards of Conduct and Agency values of  being client focused, community minded and resourcefulness.
