About the Family:
In Midland, TX 79701, a part-time, long-term opportunity awaits for a warm, creative, and playful Family Assistant. The family consists of a 5-year-old male with specific dietary needs and a dynamic home atmosphere that is busy, structured, and sometimes loud.
What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like:
- Nanny duties in the morning include focusing on the morning routine, working on gross and fine motor development, outdoor play, meal times, creative play, and transporting to preschool.
- Assistant duties involve handling errands, grocery shopping, organizational projects, etc.
- On Fridays, the nanny picks up their son from preschool and manages the evening routine, including bedtime.
- The family has 3 indoor dogs, so being comfortable with a canine family is required.
- This is a long-term position that offers full-time hours during school breaks.
What We're Looking For:
- Ideal nanny qualities: Punctual, energetic, firm, interactive, active, communicative, and playful.
- Experience: Open to all experience levels.
- Comfortable with a busy and sometimes loud home dynamic.
- Ability to follow Love and Logic parenting principles.
- Being comfortable with three medium to large indoor dogs.
- Transportation of the child required (nanny will use their vehicle).
- Openness to handling assistant duties, including errands and organizational projects.
- No specific vaccine requirements, but CPR/First Aid certifications are necessary.
Additional Details:
- Family has 3 indoor dogs (medium to large).
- No electronic device use.
- Nanny will use their vehicle for transporting children (mileage reimbursement).
- Major holidays off, mileage reimbursement, paid travel with the family.
Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday from 8 am to 12 pm, and Fridays from 8 am to 12 pm and 3 pm to 9 pm.
Compensation:
- Hourly Pay: $20-25
