We are an environmentally friendly company that manufactures various types of high-quality pulp, paper and paper-based packaging materials. Our mills in Rumford, Maine and Biron Wisconsin are integrated paper & pulp facilities, and our mill in Fairmont, West Virginia is one of only three in the world that produces air-dried, recycled pulp. Our fourth mill in Old Town, ME produces softwood kraft pulp. We are proud of our 1400 dedicated employees, who together produce more than 1.2 million short tons of pulp & paper annually.
JOB RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Demonstrate safety as a core value and establish a safe work environment by actively leading the safe execution of work.
  • Follow all safety and company policies and procedures including maintaining good housekeeping, reporting any issues, accidents or incidents immediately; must complete online safety training each month as assigned.
  • Follow all quality and operating requirements.
  • Utilize Kiwi and other systems to ensure information is documented and instructions and line-ups are followed.
  • Reading line-ups and providing in advance the tooling, print plates, ink and other required materials for converting equipment to be set up in a timely fashion with no additional and unnecessary downtime.
  • Manage the tooling, print plate, ink and other parts inventory to ensure that parts are returned in clean and good condition and can be located.
  • Provide assistance at the machines as necessary including but not limited to assisting during set ups and relieving for breaks and lunches.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized with safety and organization in mind.
  • Provide ink drawdowns and other samples as requested.
  • Provide technical guidance for die cutting, printing and ink management.
  • Operate ink kitchen.
  • Works with vendors to ensure that proper quality and service is received.
  • Ability to perform color matches and proofread copy.
  • Thoroughly, accurately and timely records and documents information as required.
  • Perform all additional duties as assigned.

WORK RELATIONSHIP AND SCOPE
Factory Service work closely with other production Team Members.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Required regularly to stand for long periods of time, and squat while lifting occasionally.
  • Requires good vision.
  • Required continuous mental and visual attention (to keep product moving in the supply chain while maintaining accurate inventory transactions involving diversified work requiring constant alertness or activity).
