FACO / Flight Line Manufacturing Engineer Lead- Greenville SC

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Lead for the Manufacturing Engineer team over F-16 FACO/Flight Line. Manufacturing Engineers provide support for all stages of a platform's program lifecycle. The Manufacturing Engineering (ME) discipline is consulted and responsible for manufacturing plan development, full-rate production standup and support, and post-delivery sustainment and modification activities. MEs are integral at every program stage for efficient and effective aircraft production.
This position will be embedded in detailed manufacturing plans, concepts, corrective action, processes, and procedures. The day-to-day tasking will include working with shop floor personnel, design engineering, quality engineering, industrial engineering, and other engineering disciplines to support production of our various platforms.

This position requires a detail-oriented and organized candidate with demonstrated technical proficiency and capability. Strong communication skills - written and verbal - are required to successfully interface with various departments within Aero.
Must be a US Citizen. This position is at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 6 years experience or 10 Years professional experience in absence of Bachelors Degree
6 years of professional experience in engineering discipline
3+ years demonstrated corrective action and process improvements
Experience as a technical expert in a manufacturing discipline
Experience completing major projects and acting as the project lead role
Experience interacting with senior leadership on technical matters
Experience coordinating across organizations to ensure deliverables
Desired skills
STEM Bachelor's
3+ years exposure to aerospace manufacturing environment
3D modeling
Strong project/time management skills
Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical personnel
Background and working knowledge of tool design and tooling issues
Demonstrated ability to lead teams to and grow personnel

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Colorado Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $95,900 - $183,800. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $110,300 - $207,600. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
