Job Description
Our client is hiring multiple Critical Environment Facility Support Engineers to support all electrical and mechanical equipment in a data center environment. The client is hoping to find candidates who they can start on a contract and eventually transition to full time employees with benefits.
Critical Environment Facility Support Engineer
• Takes daily operational readings of all electrical equipment through routine rounds/log taking temperatures voltages currents etc.
• Ability to follow operating procedures SOPs for critical environment planned work activities
• Energize a cabinet in a Colo
• Uninterruptible Power Supply UPS preventative maintenance quarterly and annually
• System control panel preventative maintenance
• Battery preventative maintenance
• Ensure all safety procedures are adhered to while performing work and comply with all physical security procedures and policies
• Assist in the troubleshooting repair and replacement of instrument sensors and calibration.
• Required: Experience with electrical systems in a high availability assembly / manufacturing / critical infrastructure environment such as data centers oil
and gas refineries hospitals pharmaceutical manufacturing or related fields.
• Required: High school diploma GED or equivalent
New hires will be working Monday through Friday during core business hours between 7AM and 7PM
Skills:
Electical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering experience is preferred but will consider candidates with relatable experience. (2-5 years preferred)
Experience Level:
Intermediate and Expert Level
