The Property Management team is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as Facility Service Worker in La Ronge.
As a member of our service-oriented team, you will complete regularly scheduled preventative maintenance and as required building maintenance. This position:
- Performs maintenance, cleaning and grounds-keeping on buildings and grounds;
- Operates and maintains grounds power equipment;
- Assists co-workers with various maintenance repairs;
- Ensures, visually life safety equipment is in good operating readiness;
- Performs assigned client requests;
- Reports to facility operator/co-workers any maintenance issues and client concerns; and,
- Has the ability to maintain maintenance records in a maintenance management software.
The successful candidate will be required to operate heavy duty power cleaning equipment, grounds equipment (manual and powered), and much be able to climb ladders and lift heavy objects.
To be considered successful for this position, candidates require:
- Working level knowledge of building maintenance and operations;
- Being in good physical condition to perform manual activities (ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and climb ladders);
- The possession of a valid driver's license;
- A valid Fireman Boiler Operator Certificate, or the ability to obtain the certificate within the probationary period (12) twelve months.
