Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all aspects of maintaining clearances for company and contract personnel and ensuring compliance with the National Industrial Security Program
- Directly responsible for maintaining facility document control, including the safe guarding of classified material and the proper disposal of expired material
- Responsible for COMSEC management and maintenance
- Prepare classified material for transmittal and maintain records and documentation in support of classification guidelines on classified contracts
- Maintain the Company Security Education Program, and conducting security awareness training to all cleared employees
- Maintain an update version of the companies Standard Practices and Procedures (SPP)
- Responsible for incoming and outgoing visit requests for the facility
- Serve as liaison between the company and the clients
- On call 24/7 for security alarm calls
- On call to handle operations at company facilities when needed
Essential Functions:
- Safeguard classified information and material
- Maintain employee and facility clearances
Requirements:
- Top Secret Security Clearance required, TS/SCI desired
- Thorough knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Operating manual (NISPOM)
- Experience with, and working knowledge of JPAS, JAFAN, and ICDs
- Meticulous records keeping and excellent organizational skills
- Certified as a Facility Security Officer (FSO Program Management for Processing Facilities IS030.CU)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: MS Office suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience with Visio and MS Project desirable. Demonstrated proficiency in English as defined in STANAG 6001 (Standardized Linguistic Profile (SLP) 3333) - Listening, Speaking, Reading.
